Valencia reunirá el fin de semana a los expertos europeos e internacionales de la investigación sobre el alcoholismo

El 15 Congreso de la Sociedad Europea para la Investigación Biomédica sobre Alcoholismo (ESBRA, European Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism), se celebrará en Valencia del 12 al 15 de septiembre de 2015. Participan 29 países y será también el tercer Congreso de la Sociedad Latinoamericana de Investigaciones Biomédicas sobre el Alcoholismo (LASBRA).

La doctora Consuelo Guerri, investigadora de la RTA del Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe de Valencia, es la presidenta del Comité Organizador. Indica que “las inscripciones van a buen ritmo e incluyen personas de EEUU, del conjunto de Europa y latinoamericanos”.

Acudirán diversos presidentes de sociedades científicas españolas, europeas y de ámbito mundial, relacionadas con el la investigación sobre el alcohol. Por parte, del NIAAA (National institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism) acudirán el vicedirector, Dr. Ken Warren, y los jefes de sección de Neurociencia, Dr. Antonio Noronha, y Patología, Dr. G. Murray, así como la jefa de programas internacionales del NIAAA, Dra. MM Murray. Esta sociedad aborda tanto la adicción al alcohol como aspectos Biomédicos y de Patología.

Por su parte, el congreso cuenta con el soporte de sociedades científicas españolas como SOCIDROGALCOHOL que tendrá una mesa de trabajo el día 14 de septiembre sobre los tratamientos del alcoholismo en España y contará con la presencia de Prof. Dr. Julio Bobes, presidente de la sociedad,, Dr. Josep Guardia-Serecigni, Dr. Gerardo Flórez Menéndez y del Dr. Francisco Pascual, vicepresidente.
